'Avatar' Producer James Cameron has partnered with Vince Pace to create the Cameron-Pace Group.
The duo has the goal of developing 3D technology for theatrical, broadcast and home entertainment consumption.
Together they developed the Fusion 3D which was used extensively on 'Avatar'. Cameron is a staunch supporter of the 3D format and indicated that it will be ubiquitous in less than three years in production.
Cameron likewise announced at NAB in Las Vegas the two sequels to 'Avatar' will be produced in Manhattan Beach's MBS Media Center in Los Angeles. 'Avatar' had previously been housed for production in Playa del Rey with Cameron's offices in Santa Monica. Likewise Lightstorm Entertainment, Cameron's company, will take up space at the movie production and soundstage facility.
