British cinema has a long and rich history and the London Film Festival is no exception in bringing worldwide cinema to the shores of the Thames River.  Celebrating the artistic nature of filmmaking with a keen eye to quality films from varied sources with a certain disregard for the size of their film budgets the LFF stands out in its unapologetic quest for movies which extol the vision of the storyteller.



The Opening Night film has been announced as "Never Let Me Go" from director Mark Romanek.   Closing the festival with be the much awaited screening of "127 Hours" from "Slumdog Millionaire" director Danny Boyle.
